Biography

Bill was born in University City and grew up on Elder Drive in Florissant.  His parents moved to Ballwin when it was still largely undeveloped.  Bill put himself through college by working summers on the assembly line at the GM assembly plant at Union and Natural Bridge.  After college, he attended law school at Mizzou, where he met his wife Ann, who was studying journalism, and Bill returned home after graduation.  Bill has lived in virtually every part of St Louis County.  As a life-long resident, he knows the needs of the people of our County.

Bill is a top St. Louis attorney who was elected to be one of the youngest Presidents of The Missouri Bar in state history, and he was named as one of the best lawyers in America. Bill has advised countless small and large businesses to help them grow, and he also serves on the boards of directors for several local private and public businesses in the area, so he understands the challenges that local businesses are facing and what needs to be done to help them recover, grow again, and create new jobs.

Bill has committed himself to serving the less fortunate among us, providing free legal aid to homeless individuals and flood victims.  Additionally, he has served in leadership positions on the development boards of the Edgewood Children’s Center and the Cardinal Glennon Children’s hospital. Bill is Catholic and a member of Immacolata parish, where he serves as a Sunday school (PSR) teacher.

Bill received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from the University of Missouri.

Bill lives in St. Louis County with his wife Ann and daughters Katie and Maura.
